Family: Asparagaceae

often called spider plant  but also known as airplane plant, St. Bernard's lily, spider ivy, ribbon plant, and hen and chickens is a species of perennial flowering plant.

Uses: 

1. Safed musli is a rare herb from India. It is used in traditional systems of medicine including Ayurveda, Unani, and homeopathy. It is traditionally used for arthritis, cancer, diabetes, boosting vitality, improving sexual performance, and for many other uses.

2. One of the easiest indoor plants to maintain, the Spider Plant produces oxygen whilst purifying the air in your home and office by absorbing carbon monoxide, formaldehyde and xylene. Additionally, Spider Plants are non-toxic and are in fact edible, making them safe for pets and young children.

একটি লম্বা পাতলা গাছ, টার্মিনালিয়া বেরেরিকা, যা স্থানীয়ভাবে কম্ব্রেটেসি পরিবারের বাহেড়া বা বয়ড়া নামে পরিচিত, এটি দৈর্ঘ্য ১৫ থেকে ২২ মিটার এবং প্রায় এক মিটার বা তার বেশি ব্যাস অর্জন করে। বাকলটি নীল বা ছাই ধূসর। পাতা বিস্তৃতভাবে উপবৃত্তাকার এবং শাখাগুলির শেষ প্রান্তে ক্লাস্টারযুক্ত, কাঠ মাঝারিভাবে ভারী এবং টেকসই হয় ফলগুলি খাওয়া যেতে পারে, তবে দেশী চিকিৎসার জন্য আরও এবং বৃহতভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। প্রথাগতভাবে এটি ওয়াশিং ডিটারজেন্ট হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি ট্যানিনের অন্যতম সেরা উৎস। ভোজ্য কিন্তু মাদক বৈশিষ্ট্যযুক্ত। বয়ড়া ফলের সজ্জা বা নরম অংশ ডায়রিয়া এবং কুষ্ঠরোগের চিকিৎসায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। অর্ধ-পাকা ফলগুলি রেচক পদার্থ হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। বীজ থেকে উৎপন্ন তেল চুলের টনিক হিসাবে কার্যকর। বয়ড়া গাছের কাঠ ছুতার এর কাজেও ব্যবহৃত হয়। 💚🌍🌳🌱

Bohera a large and tall deciduous tree, Terminalia belerica, locally known as Bahera or Boyra, of the family Combretaceae, attaining a height of 15 to 22 m and a diameter of about one metre or more. Large trees are often buttressed at the base. The bark is bluish or ashy grey. Leaves are broadly elliptic and clustered towards the ends of branches. The wood is moderately heavy and durable. The fruits can be eaten, but is more commonly and largely used in indigenous medical purposes. Traditionally it has been used as washing detergent. It is one of the best sources of tannin. The kernel is edible but has narcotic properties. The pulp of the fruit is used in treating diarrhoea and leprosy. Half-ripped fruits are used as purgative. The oil extracted from the seeds is useful as a hair tonic. The wood is used in carpentry 💚🌍🌳🌱
